How IV Nutrient Therapy Works
When we consume vitamins orally, they pass through the stomach and intestines where they are broken down by gastrointestinal enzymes. Then the body finally absorbs them into the bloodstream.
With IV nutrient therapy, vitamins and minerals are administered directly into the body through the veins. The nutrients avoid the metabolism in the intestines so the body can absorb nutrients 10-20 times more. By absorbing nutrients directly into the bloodstream, it avoids GI upset.
